GLAZED FRAMED LEDGED DOORS

All our doors are bespoke, made to measure from sustainable highest quality kiln dried solid wood and are of mortice and tenon construction, glued and wedged Typical thickness for replacement exterior doors is 44mm other thickness are available. All external doors are supplied with wooden weatherboards. Lots of other styles and woods are available see below.

Glass / Door Proportions
Our doors are glazed from the outside this is the traditional way for wooden doors. If you would like your door to be
glazed from the inside please state at time of order. Doors with single vision panels are glazed from the inside

Door prices include 14mm clear Pilkington K toughened double glazed units. 24mm Planitherm also available p.o.a.

The pictures above are typical examples of glazed framed ledged doors. Our experienced joiners will work out the best proportions from the door sizes you give us. If you have a specific requirement please ask.

As standard we use toughened Pilkington K energy efficient double glazed units for doors
For even greater energy efficiency we offer a 56mm thick door double boarded (same on back as front) with a 25mm
Quinntherm Insulated core and 24mm Planitherm toughened argon filled double glazed units with warm edge spacer bars

Measuring Your Door - If you require your door to fit within an existing frame please supply: Width, Height, Depth. If you require a frame please supply: Width (brick to brick measurement) & Height (brick to brick measurement).

If you wish to place an order we require a 30% deposit of the VAT inclusive price - this can be paid by debit/credit card (no extra charge) or bank transfer (details available upon request) - Remaining balance is payable upon receipt of proforma invoice approx. 1 week prior to despatch by debit/credit card or bank transfer.
