I rang your office the other day to confirm the safe arrival of the doors and to express our extreme pleasure with them. Your products deserve to grace the finest houses and I cannot say often enough how absolutely delighted we are with them. We will get pleasure out of them always. My builder has said he thinks your joinery is the finest he has seen in
thirty years and he has won regional builder of the year three times in the last ten years so he might know what he is talking about. He will certainly be recommending you to any of his clients that require oak joinery. I don't think you have seen the last of us either!!.

Our door has now been fitted and we are delighted with it. It fits perfectly and lines up exactly with the existing side lights. Our door fitter is an experienced craftsman in his sixties who builds very impressive oak staircases himself and he descibed it as a " beautiful door"..........high praise indeed!!

I want you to know how pleased I am with the door you supplied. It was the easiest thing to install with you having assembled the frame and cut the door to suit, each panel fitted perfectly first time after fitting hinges and it shuts securely against the weather seals with a very satisfying sound as the latch closes. I’m extremely pleased with the overall result and am grateful to you for the quality of your manufacture; I’ve no doubt it is one of the finest and most handsome door in the village and was admired by all who visited my house at Easter!

I won’t hesitate to let people know where they should be shopping for their replacement doors.

Just a short note to say that the builders have fitted the doors and they look absolutely fantastic and thoroughly in keeping with the character of the manor.

I dont mind saying that both Debbie and I were a bit apprehensive about ordering on line due to the obvious reason of not knowing who you are dealing with etc but in this instance all of our doubts were completely unjustified.

It is extremely rare that items are damaged in transit due to the way we pack but when or if it does happen we do everything we can, if a repair can be done that's great if not
we will replace the item. Please read Mr Bloomfields comments below.

Hi Jonathan

Sorry not to have been in touch since you sent me the Idigbo filler.

The repair went very well indeed. First attempt showed the colour was a bit light so I darkened it with some wood dye and refilled the holes. I also added some graining with a fine brown felt pen and after varnishing with a medium oak colour it is impossible to see from any normal angle.

I am delighted with the way it has turned out and with the overall result of both doors in their frames, the skirtings and the window sill, they look fantastic and give a real quality finish to the two rooms. My wife is very pleased as well and says they are the best features of the new cloakroom/utility room.

Now that we have finished successfully I wouldn't dream of taking any refund - it was very good of you to offer it or replacement and it was reassuring to have in the background in case the repair didn't go well but the end result is so good I think we should just leave things as they are. I certainly know where to come if we need any other doors as we work our way round the house, it's been a pleasure dealing with you and Mandy.

The door fitted the frame perfectly, and meant that the whole fitting process was really painless. Its very rare for me to receive a door that doesn't need lots of additional fine sanding and is so well protected for transport. Just a quick email to say that the door arrived as planned, and in perfect condition. You certainly weren't kidding when you said they were well packaged ! The poor delivery chap was struggling with it somewhat apparently.

The door is gorgeous ! It really is the "icing on the cake" for the kitchen. It has also shown that the cabinets and doors really do look like pippy oak (they're vinyl wrapped doors) as they're a perfect match with the real oak door. Our joiner is going to hang it tomorrow. He's too rushed today with other commitments and wants to spend time getting it right. I get the impression you may be contacted by him too as he's taken down your details :-)

We were already considering replacing our front door when the time comes to do the hall/stairs/landing so I suspect we'll be approaching you for that one.

Dear Mandy,
Thank you for your letter following up the treatment for the door. I have coated the door twice with sikkens top coat and the glazing has been siliconed in by the joiner. The door has been installed now for about three weeks and it looks beautiful, I was very impressed by the standard of workmanship and finish, it is like a piece of well made furniture and it has exceeded all expectations!

Our carpenter is currently hanging the door with as much care as you clearly take in making the doors. Certainly we are absolutely delighted with ours; the idea of painting it has been put to one side as it seems such a pity to cover up the beauty of the wood.
